Delivery time frames are estimates, and may change based on shipping carrier delays beyond our control. Thank you for your patience and support.

Rates and time frames listed are for consumer orders only; they do not apply to wholesale orders.

Please note: Shipping methods & rates apply to consumer orders only. Delivery time frame estimates take into account the time to process & prepare your order for shipment, as well as time in-transit. Orders placed by 12pm PT each business day will generally be processed to ship the next shipping day, according to the selected method. Orders placed after 12pm PT and all weekend orders will require an additional processing day prior to shipment. We do not offer same day shipping, and Saturday delivery may not be available for all destinations.

General Ordering Guidelines

We take great care when shipping your order to ensure it arrives in the same delicious condition it leaves our warehouse. No matter which shipping method you select, we'll do the following to protect your order:

  • Add temperature control to all shipments that will encounter temperatures of 70 degrees or higher
  • Schedule your shipment to be in transit for as little time as possible and to avoid sitting in a warm warehouse over a weekend.

This means limiting the days we ship, not shipping orders over the weekend, and expediting your order as needed. Depending on the day your order is placed, this may also means we hold onto your order a little longer before shipping so it's not in transit over the weekend.

Order Processing

We do not currently have same-day shipping available; please allow up to one business day for your order to be processed before shipment. If for any reason, we’re unable to ship your order as expected, we’ll get in touch with you.

Please note that once an order has been placed we are uanble to modify or cancel your order.

Typical Processing Times:

Weekday Orders (through 12pm PT Friday):

        • Before 12pm PT: processed same day & ship next shipping day (Mon-Wed)
        • After 12pm PT: processed next business day & ship following shipping day (Mon-Wed)

Weekend Orders (12pm PT Friday through Sunday):

        • All orders will be processed next business day and ship following shipping day (Mon-Fri)

Theo shipping days are Monday-Wednesday, unless we are closed for a holiday. We do not process or ship orders over the weekend.

Large or Custom Order Lead Times

If your order includes a large quantity of items, such as our Gift Boxes, additional time may be needed to prepare your order. You can always contact us to inquire if your order will be ready in time!

If there is a delay with an existing order, our team will also be sure to reach out.

International, APO/FPO/DPO & PO Boxes

We do not currently offer shipping to US territories, any type of PO Box, APO/FPO/DPO boxes, or ship internationally.

Returns & Refunds

We do not accept returns or exchanges, but do want to make sure your experience with us is a positive one. For any online order issues, please contact us via email at with details about your concerns and we'll work with you on a solution.

Shipping Methods

We offer the following shipping methods for customers located in the United States during the checkout process. Keep in mind when selecting your shipping method that an additional business day is required for order processing, and we do not ship orders out on the weekends or offer weekend delivery.

Please note: items shipping to different locations must be placed as separate orders. There can only be one shipping address per order.

    • Standard Shipping (delivery within 3-7 business days)

Orders will be shipped out Monday-Wednesday as weather allows. If warmer weather is expected orders may be held to ensure they are not stuck in high temperatures while in transit. Please keep this in mind when placing an order during the warmer months.

Temperature Shipping Restrictions

Chocolate starts to melt at 70 degrees F, so we take great care when preparing and shipping your order to ensure it arrives to you in perfect condition.

During the warmer months of the year, we will take extra precautions to guarantee the integrity of your order:  

  • Shipments may be held until the following Monday to ensure your chocolate is not left sitting in a warm shipping facility
  • Cool packs may be added to your order to ensure temperature control throughout its journey to you
  • Orders shipping to destinations of 90 degrees or warmer may be held until temperatures cool (up to one week) or cancelled to avoid melted deliveries. We will notify you in the event your order cannot be fulfilled.

If you are shipping to a destination with high temperatures, you may also notice that free shipping rates are sometimes unavailable. In this case, you’ll see available shipping methods for your location at checkout.

Unattended Packages

If no one is available to receive your order upon arrival at its final destination, our carriers will leave it at the door. If this could pose a problem, we recommend shipping to an address where someone can sign for and receive your package. Theo is not responsible for damage or theft incurred after delivery.

Future Delivery Dates

We may be able to accommodate a future ship date, and evaluate on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly prior to placing an order to discuss your needs and options.
