Pure 85%

I've been wanting to get decent "real" chocolate with real and digestible ingredients. Came across this bar at the grocery, it was on discount and the ingredient list didn't have any nasties. Minimal sugar, real cacao, no sweeteners that look like 'no sugar' but mess with your digestive system. I was afraid that it might be too heavy, but it tastes really good, especially with my morning coffee. I think I will repurchase!

The chocolate is excellent. The repeating order is very good. I save postage by ordering 2 12 packs at a time. Unlike Amazon, Theo ships in the summer time with a cold pack.

The chocolate is great. I prefer Theo's Subscription rather than Amazon's recurring order because Amazon stops shipping in the summer, whereas you ship all year, using ice packs in the summer so the chocolate doesn't melt.

decided to cut some chunks of this Theo chocolate to mix into my cookie dough, and to my surprise, when my cookies came out of the oven, the result was wonderful pools of melty chocolaty goodness! this has never ever happened with other chocolate brands I've tried in the past.. I'm definitely interested in trying their 70% bar for future baking projects

Why the added sugar?

All the health benefits of chocolate with a minimum of sugar. I really enjoy my 1 ounce a day. I also appreciate the care Theo takes to keep their shipments going in the heat of summer.

Best chocolate bar ever! Yum, best 85% chocolate bar out there!! Can't wait to try or the new vanilla cocoa nibs 85% flavor.

Excellent

I opened a bar of this the other day. I love dark chocolate, but I had to spit this out. It tasted of dirt or mold, like the batch was bad and nobody caught it. I've had plenty of good chocolate from Theo, but what happened on this one? Did you drop a bucket of dirt in with the beans? Yuck.
