In the past, this was one of my favorite - I used to pick up a couple of these a week at my WFs. I dropped one in my order and also got one with my virtual class kit, and I was actually super disappointed - it did not live up to my memories. In the past it was a nice flavor that made you think of oranges, this time around I could tell it was just orange oil - I got more old oil than fresh citrus. It wasn't great. My 12yo was fine with it - but he didn't love it as much as the turmeric and sea salt which were his faves (he would also take the almond cherry over this, but won't scoff at this)

some chocolate/orange combinations I've tried either have the chocolate eclipse the orange or the orange overpower the chocolate. With this bar, you get a nice balance and a notch or two above a hint of orange. Very pleasing on the palate and great for any time

Orange flavor wasn't strong enough

I was a little bit disappointed that the orange flavor was not as strong as I'd like. Maybe that is just personal preference. I enjoyed the quality of the chocolate it was just missing a stronger citrus flavor I was expecting.

Godiva replacement

When Godiva discontinued their 68% dark chocolate orange & ginger 75g bar, I started searching for a replacement. The Theo 70% Orange is right up there! Missing the ginger but the orange flavor comes through in a burst, as it melts in your mouth. Really good!
