Favourite product: Daily toss-up between our dark salted almond and spicy chile bars! And our enrobed marshmallow Easter bunnies and sheep…but I can’t bring myself to eat those, I just want to admire them because they are so adorable. 


"What do you love most about your job at Theo?"

My job gives me a deep sense of purpose and connection. Our company strives to demonstrate integrity in every way and it’s a gift to participate in that.


"What inspires you?"

Everything – every aspect of life is extraordinary in its own way…but listening to a piece of music my son has composed cracks my heart wide open every time.


"What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?"

I’m excellent at faking fluency in Danish.


"What food would you drive all day for?"

Fried clams or fried oysters from Farnum’s clam shack on the north shore of Massachusetts (spoken like the true vegetarian that I am.)

"What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about chocolate while working at Theo? "

Theo dark chocolate is without a doubt, health food.


"What’s your earliest chocolate memory?"

My mom is a great cook but she has also always loved junk food. I remember entering my parent’s bedroom one evening and finding her on the bed, Reese’s peanut butter cup wrappers strewn about, spilling onto the floor, a half empty bag in her lap….and the look on her face. Now she is a serious Theo chocolate devotee, worthy of mention.


"What’s your favorite eco-tip?"

My husband actually turns the water off while soaping himself in the shower. I am filled with admiration for him – I’m too much of a wimp to say I do the same, but I’ll try again in the summer months!
